I love the caramel and chocolate colouring of this smooth slice of jasper but the fact that it went so well with that little hand-carved cube of wood is simply a happy confluence. The carving came from a man who had brought pieces of abandoned temples plus old silver and copper from his native India in hopes that they could be repurposed for adornment. This piece may not have come from a temple door but the idea appealed to me as I added companions of tiger eye, old silver and jasper. The tiny beads along the strand are tiger eye and faceted onyx with silver accents and a sterling toggle clasp inscribed with pictographs. Strand is 20" long.
